Nuclear Fuel Design Review and Analysis
by NAC Stoller provides independent assessment
of fuel designs, newly introduced design features and materials, including their
likely performance under operating and accident conditions. Such analyses are available
in support of procurement activity, supplier transition, or the introduction of
a new design/design feature/manufacturing process by an existing supplier.

NAC Stoller Training includes:
Performance-Based Nuclear Fuel
Manufacturing Oversight in a 2.5 day seminar provides
training on fabrication techniques and the assessment of them in consideration of
design, materials, performance, reliability and integrity. The training presents
methods and approaches for the development of a prioritised (graded), engineering-based,
technical oversight program. This training helps utility oversight staff to identify
and focus on the most important aspects of manufacturing, including statistical
techniques appropriate for the assessment of manufacturing processes and inspections.
Products
Regular Nuclear Fuel technical products from NAC Stoller include the COPAG (Core Performance Assessment Group)
program. COPAG membership includes utilities that operate a diversity of reactor
types and fuel designs in Asia, Europe, and the United States. They sponsor independent
analyses by NAC Stoller of critical contemporary issues in nuclear fuel design,
manufacturing, operation, performance and reliability. COPAG provides members with
highly organised vendor and industry information, including expert analysis on nuclear
fuel and core components.
