John Rivera
Director, Fuel Performance Consulting

Rivera has over 25 years of experience providing nuclear fuel design, performance, materials, procurement and quality assurance expertise and services to the power industry, including 15 years in management positions. He has performed numerous assessments of nuclear fuel and core components including on-site inspections and repairs. He is an original industry author of performance-based oversight programs for utility oversight of BWR and PWR fuel fabricators. He has served as a Lead QA Auditor and is Six Sigma certified. Rivera holds degrees in the areas of Nuclear Engineering and Nuclear Materials. Rivera joined NAC in 2009 as Director, Fuel Performance Consulting. Prior to that, Rivera held management positions at Florida Power and Light, Duke Engineering and Services, and Yankee Atomic Electric Company.
